
A big day of activities are on the schedule for the Fulton Banana Festival.
Vendors will be open for business in the downtown area starting at 9:00.
A Health Fair will take place from 9:00 until 11:00 at Fulton Baptist Church.
Kids activities are scheduled from 4:00 until 10:00, with the Banana Cabana at Pontotoc Park from 5:00 until 9:00.
Entertainment will be held at Unity Park starting at 4:30 with Marissa Luna.
At 6:00, performances by impersonators of Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks will take place on the stage.
The day’s activities will end at 8:30 with music by Kelsey Hart.
The carnival will also begin today at Unity Park.
Saturday’s final day of the Banana Festival begins at 8:00 with the downtown Fulton Car Show, and includes the Grand Parade at 4:00, the one-ton banana pudding, and a concert by country music star Rodney Atkins at 8:30 at Unity Park.
