The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reported their fourth drowning accident of the year on Easter Sunday.

TWRA officers were called to Tims Ford Lake in Moore County just before 5:30 Sunday afternoon.

A preliminary investigation indicated 24 year old Blake Lewis, of Tullahoma, was in a paddle craft style vessel with a friend when he fell overboard.

The friend in the other vessel threw multiple flotation devices into the water, but Lewis was unable to reach them before disappearing under water.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and used sonar to recover the body of Lewis just after 7:00.

TWRA reports said he was not wearing a personal flotation device at the time of the accident.
