Two local hospitality and tourism industry officials were recently honored for their work.
Northwest Tennessee Tourism announced that Scott Williams, CEO at Discovery Park of America, and Alan Laderman, owner of Sammies, The Grind Mac and Cheese Burger Bar, and Woodfire Pizza Kitchen, were recognized at the Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association’s Stars of the Industry Awards.
The awards came during the Governor’s Conference on Hospitality and Tourism, which recognizes excellence in service, leadership and dedication.
Williams was honored as the Tourism General Manager of the Year, with Laderman recognized as the Restaurant General Manager of the Year.
