The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that a mobile work zone will be active along Interstate 69 in Graves, Hickman and Fulton counties starting Thursday, as part of a micro-surfacing project.
The work zone spans from approximately I-69 Exit 2 in Graves County between I-69 Exits 1 and 2 in Fulton County. Weather permitting; crews will be applying pavement striping in segments along I-69 during daytime hours.
Motorists should be alert for signage and trucks with arrow boards guiding traffic to shift into the open lane around the mobile work caravan.
A reduced speed limit of 55 mph is in effect in the work zone. This phase of work is expected to be completed by about October 24th.
