
Four Weakley County high school students spent their fall break traveling with Bethel University Global Studies as the first ever all –male student group to attend.
They were Michael Davis of Greenfield, Bennie Dexter Cockerham of Greenfield, Tyler Earls of Gleason, and Corbin Hugueley of Gleason.
In August students enrolled in an online Bethel University Dual Enrollment course, studying Maya history and culture. Also attending, Spanish teacher Jonathan Shepherd at Bethel Professor Stacie Freeman.
Their capstone project was a journey to Mexico over fall break. The students were both eligible for scholarships to help pay their pay and three hours of transferrable college credit from Bethel University.
