Approximately 3,000 cans were collected during this week’s WCMT-Skyhawk Can Caravan.
A total of 2,930 cans were collected from six Weakley County Schools to help stock the shelves at WE CARE Ministries.
Students at Martin Primary School donated the most cans with 550 followed by Westview with 511 cans.
Martin Elementary donated 440 cans, Greenfield School donated 300 cans, Central Christian Academy donated 217 cans, and Dresden donated 100 cans.
The annual Can Caravan is a partnership with Thunderbolt Radio and Digital and UT Martin Athletics.
