Firefighters Respond to Residential Fire Just Outside of Troy

The Troy Fire Department responded to the scene just before 1:00 Monday morning for a residential structure Fire on South Sanders road outside Troy.

Extreme cold temperatures made the call much more worse for firefighters at the scene.

The house and contents were a total loss, and unfortunately one household pet did not survive.

Firefighters were able to remove some Christmas presents before the roof collapsed.

Auto Aid was provided by the Rives Volunteer Fire Department and Obion Fire Department.

Mutual Aid was also requested by command for Hornbeak Fire Department and Kenton Fire Department for manpower and tanker support.
