Most all area school systems will begin their Christmas Break this week.
The Lake County School System will begin the holiday break period with a half-day of classes on Wednesday.
The school systems of Union City, Obion County, Weakley County, Dyer County and Gibson County will all dismiss after a half-day of classes on Friday.
And the Fulton County, Fulton Independent and Hickman County School Systems will also dismiss for Christmas Break on Friday, following a full day of classes.
