Jackson Police charged a 19 year old with reckless homicide after shooting a student on Lane College campus.
Police were dispatched Saturday night to Williamson Hall and found that Zavon Luckett Junior recklessly handled a firearm resulting in the shooting death of Devin Parker Junior.
Luckett was arraigned Tuesday morning in Jackson City Court.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 9:30.
Lane College said on Facebook that Bray Hall Building will be illuminated for the week in honor of Parker and a candlelight vigil will be held later this week.
