UT Martin announced Monday the appointment of their new Dean of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Matthew Bice has been selected after months of candidate interviews from all over the country. The announcement was made Monday in an email from UT Martin Chancellor Yancy Freeman.
Mr. Bice is currently the provost and Vice President of academic affairs at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.
He replaces Cindy West, longtime dean of the college, who retired at the end of 2025. His official start date will be announced later.
