The UT Martin Advisory Board will have a new chairman at their next meeting.
Board Chairman Art Sparks, of Union City, presided over his final meeting, when the board met last week in the Boling University Center.
Sparks is one of only two advisory board members remaining from the original appointees.
He had served as the boards only chairman since 2019, and will remain as a member.
Hal Bynum, of Dresden, is the other remaining original advisory board member and was elected to succeed Sparks in the chair position.
