Weakley County Courthouse selected Toya Bell as the new Interim Circuit Court Clerk at the first Weakley County committee meeting of 2026.
Miss Bell spoke with Thunderbolt news about why she wanted the position.
She explains some of the changes that have been made to her daily operations at the courthouse.
She says that the big goal is to serve Weakley County.
Miss Bell is also running for reelection on the May 5th ballot.
