Police are still looking for a man who shot a Memphis police officer during a traffic stop Thursday night.
According to authorities, Danell Maxwell is considered armed and dangerous and has been placed on the “Most Wanted List”.
The Memphis Police Department is urging those in the public to not approach Maxwell, but to call 911.
He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing and a reflective vest.
The Memphis Police Department said Officer Oscar Torres-Molina had pulled Maxwell over on Aloha Avenue and South Perkins Road in Parkway Village.
At some point, the suspect shot the officer and left the scene.
Officer Torres-Molina was listed in critical but stable condition.
Police believe Maxwell is in Tennessee or Arkansas.
