Bids were read for new riding mowers at the Union City Council meeting on Tuesday.
Bid requests were recently released to purchase eight zero turn mowers for use with the Parks and Recreation and Turf Department’s.
During this week’s Council meeting, Parks and Turf Director Hunter Wilbanks read the bids received.(AUDIO)
Wilbanks said the combined departments helped with the lease payments and reduction in needed equipment.(AUDIO)
Council members agreed unanimously to the two year lease price of $74,878 for eight Scag mowers from Bobcat of Union City.
