Two out of four TSSAA state basketball championships Saturday were won for West Tennessee.
Double-A Huntingdon girls and Triple-A Dyersburg Lady Trojans came home with a shiny gold balls.
Huntingdon defeated York Institute 43 to 41 and Dyersburg Lady Trogans swept White County 54 to 45 to claim the titles.
Earlier Class-A Richland defeated Middleton 34 to 33 to win a gold ball while the Lady Raiders defeated Greenfield in overtime in the semifinals Friday.
And in Class 4-A Sevier County defeated Cookeville 61 to 43.
The TSSAA boys games will be played Wednesday through Saturday in Murfreesboro. Those schools include Westview, Humboldt, South Gibson and Humboldt.
