Those traveling into Hickman on Highway 125/Union City Highway will now be delayed shortly, due to alternating flow traffic lights at the Seventh Street/HWY-1099 By-Pass intersection.
A widening project is now ongoing at the intersection to better serve grain trucks, flat bed tractor trailer trucks and other large equipment that use the turn off for access to Hickman grain facilities and industries.
Detour signs will guide traffic around the westbound section of the By-Pass, which is closed.
The project is scheduled for completion in November.
