Kentucky State Police at Post 1 Mayfield have charged a Deputy Jailer at the Ballard County Detention Center.
Post 1 reports said 60 year old Robert Blair Terry, of Arlington, was issued Class-A Misdemeanor charges of second-degree sexual abuse and first-degree official misconduct.
The charges stem from an investigation into an inappropriate relationship with an inmate.
State Police were contacted after the female inmate reported sexual contact with the deputy jailer that occurred in February.
The charges were issued following interviews and review of video footage.
