Martin Fire Department Proposes New Ordinance

An ordinance for reimbursement of hazmat services of up to $700 an hour was proposed at this month’s finance committee meeting.

Martin Fire Chief Jamie Summers shared an example of why the proposal is needed with the Finance Committee.

The Finance Committee approved the proposal for the ordinance.

The proposal will now make its way to the informal Martin City Board meeting on Tuesday April 7^th at 5:15 in the Martin Police Department building.

The city encourages the public to come.
