The Ken-Tenn area could see some heavy rainfall this week.
With the area still struggling from the drought, the National Weather Service says portions of the region could see up to, and over, three inches of rain.
Forecasters say the chances of rainfall will begin on Wednesday and will continue through the upcoming Easter weekend.
Thursday night and Friday brings the largest chance of thunderstorms near 70-percent, with a 60-percent chance on Saturday and 50-percent on Saturday night.
Forecasters say the local area will also see strong winds today and Thursday, with gusts near 30-miles per hour.
All precipitation that falls over the next few days will be beneficial for area farmers, who have already started some planting of crops in the abnormally dry soil.
