
The National Weather Service in Memphis says there is a chance of strong to severe scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight in parts of the Ken-Tenn area.
Forecast maps show Lake Obion and Dyer, along with Fulton and Hickman County in West Kentucky, are in a Level 2, or Slight Risk zone.
The greatest threats in the Slight Risk zone is strong winds up to 60 miles per hour and up to two-inch hail.
Weather Service officials say a possible tornado cannot be ruled out.
