Fulton County to Have New Judge-Executive, Jailer and Property Valuation Administrator After Tuesday’s May Primary

election

Fulton County will have a new County Judge-Executive to start the new year.

During May Primary voting on Tuesday, County Magistrate Christopher Wade Adams defeated incumbent Judge-Executive Jim Martin 367-to-312 in the Democratic Primary.

Adams will now move on to the November General Election to face Republican candidate Rob Coffey.

Fulton County will also have a new Jailer for the new year.

In the Democratic Primary, Elizabeth Easley defeated Robin Amberg 365-to-298.

Easley also advances to the November election to face Republican candidate James Bridges.

Voters in Fulton County also elected a new Property Valuation Administrator in Tuesday’s primary.

Chad Everett defeated Jason Gibbs 426-to-256 in the Democratic Primary.

With no Republican candidate, Everett will take the position of the retiring Pete Morgan on January 1st.

In the Magistrate race for District 2, Mike Cash won the Democratic Primary with 90 votes, followed by Zach Greer 55 and Micheal Foad Smith 23.

Cash will now face Republican Nathan Campbell in November.

In the Magistrate race for District 3, Matt Moss retains his seat by drawing 114 votes. Gregory Black had 98 votes and Nathan “Lyle” Wilson had 35.

In the District 4 race for County Magistrate, Chris Garrigus won the Democratic Primary with a 78-to-53 win over Jordy O’Neal.

In the Republican Primary, Brandon Uzzle defeated J.T. West 50-to-20.

Garrigus and Uzzle will run for the Magistrate seat in November.
