The Dresden Planning commission is meeting today at noon to discuss emergency warning sirens for the community.
A proposal of six sirens throughout the city and some areas just outside of Dresden will help residents become more alert in the case of tornadoes or other city wide emergencies.
The staff planner has yet to review the plans for proposed sirens but the opportunity appears to positive with the planner.
The meeting begins at noon today at the Dresden Town Hall..
The city of Dresden has been challenged with two tornadoes over the past few years.
