WEATHER ALERT DAY
The National Weather Service has now placed Lake County and a portion of Obion County, along with Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle and Ballard County in a Level 4, or Moderate Zone, for the possibility of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight. A Level 4, out of 5, is a rare occurrence for our area.

The National Weather Service in Memphis has indicated three separate storm systems could move through the Ken-Tenn area, which could include hail up to two-inches, wind gusts of 70 miles-per-hour, and strong tornadoes.

Area residents are being urged to have a plan in the event of any potential severe storms, and to have available access to receive any watches or warning that could be issued.
