The three day Pelican Festival gets underway Friday at Reelfoot Lake.
The event will start with vendors opening from 9:30 until 4:00.
Activities Friday includes two hour Pelican Van Tours at 10:00 and 2:00.
Registration for the art and photography contest begins at 1:00, with the days activities ending at 7:00 with an Evening with an Owl by the Campfire at the South Campground.
Pelican Van Tours will continue on Saturday and Sunday, along with Reelfoot Restaurant Tastings and voting on the Art and Photography Contests.
