A Carroll County man has been sentenced to federal prison time.
Tennessee Western District U.S. Attorney Michael Dunavant said 59 year old Chad D. Isbell was issued a 15 year prison sentence for possession of child pornography.
The charge and sentence was given after an investigation revealed Isbell used a cell phone to record himself sexually assaulting a seven year old child.
Isbell also has a related pending state indictment in Carroll County Circuit Court, where he has been charged with a Class-B felony offense of aggravated sexual battery with a victim under 13-years of age.
