State Representative Monty Fritts of Kingston will be on the ballot for Tennessee’s next Governor.
Mr. Fritts says he is a true conservative while his opponents are responsible for runaway federal deficits.
He also said he would lower taxes and government spending if he’s the next governor.
Mr. Fritts is an Army veteran, opposed to school vouchers, which provide taxpayer dollars for kids to attend private schools and he wants to eliminate the sales tax on groceries.
Representative Fritts says he leans heavily on his faith and calls himself “a Christian Nationalist,” which critics argue goes against the idea of the separation of church and state.
