The first court appearance in connection with a fatal December shooting in Martin will be on Wednesday.

Weakley County General Sessions Court officials said 23 year old Shykeedra M. Love, of Dyersburg, will make her first appearance at 8:30 in front of Judge Tommy Moore.

Ms. Love is charged with first degree murder, reckless endangerment and unlawful carry or possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from the December 31st shooting of 19 year old Cameron Houston, of Union City, at Cadillac’s Bar in Martin.

22 year old Quardarious Davis, of Union City, is also charged with first degree murder, reckless endangerment and unlawful carry or possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting death.

Davis is currently being housed at the Obion County Jail following his arrest in Dyer County.

According to Circuit Court officials, Davis is scheduled for arraignment in front of Judge Jeff Parham on January 16th due to a previous violation in Obion County.

Martin police say Houston was shot multiple times during the early morning hours, and died from his injuries at Volunteer Community Hospital.
