Union City Walmart Employee Charged With Theft

A Union City Walmart employee was charged with theft.

Union City police reports said officers were called to the West Reelfoot Avenue location to speak with a store manager.

It was learned 30 year old Taylor Herchenhahn, of Sunswept Drive, had committed theft at the store on six occasions last December.

Police reports said the theft occurred by skip scanning multiple items at the self checkout register for a total of almost $352.

Items taken included clothes, household goods, toys and general merchandise.

Ms. Herchenhahn was present at Walmart and was escorted from the business on charges of theft of property.

Two drivers license were also seized from Ms. Herchenhan by police.
