Obion County Commission Passes Resolution to Name I-690 Road for Aaron Vaughn

Obion County Commissioners have unanimously supported the naming of a road in honor of a fallen soldier.

Board members voted 20-to-0 at their monthly meeting to honor Obion County Central graduate Aaron Carson Vaughn.

Vaughn was a Navy Seal, who lost his life on August 6th of 2011 in Afghanistan.

He was 30 years old.

Mayor Steve Carr told those in attendance that the request is already moving through the channels.(AUDIO)

 

Vaughn enlisted in the Navy on his 21st birthday in 2002.
