Union City breezed to a pair of 7-0 tennis shutouts over Milan on Tuesday.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said the Lady Tornadoes won for the ninth time in as many matches and improved to 6-0 in District 14A.
Allie Vincent, Emma Jane Rice, and Josie Ross each posted 8-0 wins in singles play, with Vincent then teaming with Briley Kate McKinney to whitewash Channing Beechum and Kaylee Jackson in doubles.
The Union City boys were equally impressive against the Bulldogs, bettering their overall mark to 8-1 and their district slate to 6-0.
Paul Martin Tohn, Grant Sinclair, and the number-one doubles tandem of Kobe Kirk and Byron Abbott all posted 8-1 wins for the Purple and Gold.
Union City is set to host Camden on Thursday at the Middle School courts
