A Carroll County man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for possession of child pornography following a guilty plea.
Fifty nine year old Chad Isbell (Is-bul) of McKenzie used a cell phone to record himself sexually assaulting a seven-year-old child.
The child’s mother reported the video to the police when she received it by way of social media.
In addition to the sentence U.S District Judge J. Daniel Breen put an additional sentence of five years of supervised release.
Isbell admitted that he had made a video and stored it on his cell phone.
Meanwhile, Isbell will be back in court on a pending indictment in Carroll County Circuit Court, where he’s charged with unlawful sexual contact with another alleged victim of 13 years old.
