Travel in Tennessee for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday is expected to set a new record.
The holiday travel period will begin on Thursday and will continue until Memorial Day on Monday.
Triple-A is projecting 950,000 residents will travel at least 50 miles from home during the holiday weekend.
Triple-A spokesperson Megan Cooper says higher fuel prices may cause some travelers to shorten trips or stay closer to home.
