The first reading of a charter amendment for the appointment of a Martin City Manager was approved by the board at this month’s City Board meeting.

The board will now begin to work on the job description of the position, as well as confirm a salary amount.
The final reading of the amendment, along with a final vote, will take place at Martin’s next formal City Board meeting on Monday June 8th at 5:15 in the Martin Police Department building.
