Discovery Park of America is hosting their annual military weekend in Union City.
The “Military Past, Present and Future Expo” will be held Friday and Saturday, featuring a variety of programs and interactive activities.
Friday’s events will include a patriotic kickoff concert by the Paris-Henry County concert band at 10:30, followed by the UT-Martin ROTC posting of colors at 11:00.
Friday events also includes a keynote address from Brigadier General Trent Scates, and a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter take off.
The list for Saturday includes a performance by the 52nd Regimental String Band, an educational panel hosted by Major William Burgess and a guided tour of military equipment.
All active military service members, veterans and their guests will receive free admission.
