The fourth annual Wreaths Across America Charity Golf tournament is taking registration for teams that would like their shot at a grand prize.
The tournament will take place Saturday, April 25th at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon at 8.
Location Coordinator for Wreaths Across America, Linda Smith says everyone is invited to participate.
The morning will begin with registration at 7 then breakfast with the tournament beginning promptly at 8.
All proceeds go toward raising just over 3,000 wreaths for local deceased veteran graves.
Ms. Smith says this year they’ve been awarded a matching grant which should help to reach the goal more quickly.
Registration for a four person team with a golf cart is $225, registration for an individual is $65; contact Ms. Smith to sign up.
