The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has confirmed the catch of a record largemouth bass.
The 15-pound, seven-and-a-half ounce bass breaks a previous record set almost eleven years ago.
The TWRA said Darren Nunley, of Whitwell, caught the record fish in Nickajack Reservoir on February 28th.
The bass breaks the former record of 15-pounds and three ounces by Gabe Keen in February of 2015.
