Newbern police seized a quantity of marijuana during a traffic stop this past weekend.
Police department reports said 30 year old Lakeyston Brown, of Dyersburg, was arrested following a stop for speeding in the area of Church Grove Road.
Following the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a felony amount of marijuana, along with digital scales.
Brown was charged with possession of schedule six marijuana with the intent to sell or deliver.
