Union City police say bones recently discovered at a home on Main Street are not human.
Assistant Police Chief Josh Lovell told Thunderbolt News that photos of the discovery were sent to state officials in Memphis for identification.
Chief Lovell said they have been informed the bones were from a cow.
The Chief said the bones were discovered in the ground when a heating and air unit was being installed at a home.
He also said the bones were over 100 years old.
