
The City of Greenfield has approved the purchase of new tires and a new fire house for their fire department.
At this month’s Greenfield City Board meeting, Fire Chief Bob Dudley, requested new tires for a Peterbilt truck totaling $4,000 after the sale of the old tires.
Fire Chief Dudley also requested a new fire hose at just over $8,500.
The board approved both purchases unanimously.
Greenfield Fire Department will sell their current fire hose to the City of Huntingdon for $500.
Greenfield will hold their first budget meeting Thursday March 19th at 4:30 at Greenfield City Hall.
